Two DLR Sections Now Free to Ride for 12 Months
To mark the opening of the new Silvertown Tunnel, two sections of London’s DLR network are now free to travel for at least one year.
The free sections include:
🚇 Greenwich or Cutty Sark ↔ Island Gardens
🚇 Woolwich Arsenal ↔ King George V
These routes cross the Thames and remain free by refunding your fare after you tap in and out.
⚠️ Note: Cutty Sark station will close from May 31 until next spring, but the Greenwich-Island Gardens free ride will still be accessible via nearby stations.
This initiative joins other Silvertown Tunnel perks, like free bus routes and a bike bus service.
